It took longer than I thought, but I have finally built a new server. I started with the Intel SC5295WSNA server chassis and the Intel SE7230NH1-E server system board. I put in the Intel Pentium D (945) 3.4 GHz dual core processor, 4 GB of memory and two Western Digital WD5000YS (500 GB) SATA hard drives. It's not the best server in the world, but I am very happy with it.

New hardware also means new software, so it's running Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise, MSSQL 2005, Apachie, IIS6 and Coldfusion MX 7.0.2 Enterprise.

This site was created to develop and test advanced web programming and is undergoing a complete rewrite and will be back with all new features.
